Sometimes you just need to surprise your friends and family with something special, and dessert is always the way. This caramel tiramisu is a traditional coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa.
There are many layers of rich chocolate and coffee flavours that compliment each other very well. The creamy mascarpone cheese and whipped cream provides extra texture combinations too. Not only can you have beautiful layers of this iconic dessert, but you can also make individual servings in large dessert glasses for extra presentation points.
