Watch: A look at Ellen DeGener

It looks like popular talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi are enjoying their trip to Africa and is even taking some time to document some of the lovely details on social media.

On Instagram, DeGeneres uploaded a video of De Rossi ordering breakfast at Giraffe Manor, a small hotel in the Lang’ata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya which, together with its associated Giraffe Centre, serves as a home to a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes.

According to US Magazine, the couple is in Africa to establish a permanent home for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund as part of the Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund.

In February, De Rossi told DeGeneres on her 60th birthday that she had established the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda.

According to its official website, this initiative of the Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund is to help build a permanent home for Dian Fossey’s organization.

“This campus will inspire and educate local communities and tourists, engage scientific and conservation trailblazers to share knowledge  and provide a training ground for a new wave of African scientists committed to conservation.”

In another video, a Giraffe is seen taking treats from De Rossi’s hand. “Portia hasn’t met a giraffe she didn’t like,” DeGeneres commented.

In another video, DeGeneres sits at a table in the dining room as she talks to a Giraffe. “Your eyes are so pretty,” she says softly. “You’re so pretty.”

She captioned the video, “Flirting with a giraffe.”

Just look at the excitement on her face:

The Instagram page also shared a picture of DeGeneres and De Rossi feeding a Giraffe:

DeGeneres and De Rossi also shared a clip of them landing in Rwanda to visit Dian Fossey’s gorillas.
