If you’ve left your December annual leave planning to the last minute, here’s a way you can get more for less.

If you take just three days after Christmas, you could score yourself a ten-day holiday.

To go on holiday from Saturday, 23 December 23, and return to work on Tuesday, 2 January 2024 (10 days), book these dates:

Wednesday, 27 December
Thursday, 28 December
Friday 29, December

DON’T FORGET UPCOMING LONG WEEKEND!

With Cyril Ramaphosa throwing in an “extra” public holiday on Friday, 15 December thanks to several sporting achievements, including the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup win, there’s now an even more extended leave option.

If you can spare eight annual leave days, you could bag an 18-day holiday, returning to work on Tuesday, 2 January.
