Zulu man in a skirt: Zakes rocks pink kilt – and grills a troll
Zakes Bantwini looked absolutely dapper in a pink kilt. This didn’t stop one person from trolling him for wearing a pink skirt.

South African musician Zakes Bantwini is living his absolute best life. The local hitmaker recently celebrated his birthday with a lavish bash and unveiled a luxury Mercedes Benz. And now he appears to be taking on the world and embracing new cultures. Heading online, the hitmaker shared snaps of himself wearing a kilt and posing next to a Scottish bagpipe player.
The post received thousands of likes and comments from his fans who love how he is seeing the world. The star did, however, have to defend is skirt to a troll.

Zakes Bantwini rocks pink kilt in Scotland
Grammy-award winning artist Zakes Bantwini — real name Zakhele Madida — is basking in his success and it’s wonderful to see.
The musician is behind hits like Osama, Wasting My Time and Juju which features another South African Grammy winner, Black Coffee.
Last weekend he celebrated turning 43 with a star-studded birthday party that included guests like Boity Thulo, Pearl Thusi and rapper KO.

At the event, he also unveiled the luxury Mercedes Benz he’ll be driving for the next 12 months as part of his partnership with the carmaker.
This week he is seemingly travelling the world and trying different things.
Taking to Instagram, he shared photos of himself absolutely rocking a kilt which he caption, “Scottish Zulu man.”

Shutting down trolls
While the post was generally met with compliments and kind words, one troll — who later deleted the comment — called Zakes out for wearing a skirt.
Not wasting anytime, the artist called the troll out.
“No my brother/sister, do not resort to inappropriate talk, the way you speak shows some prejudice.
“Travelling opens up the mind and provides knowledge about other cultures. Here I am rocking Scottish attire bro, don’t give the world the wrong impression of us,” he wrote in Zulu.
