“Zahara is a human being, just like us…sometimes we forget that people have real feelings. They lose a loved one…business doesn’t go as planned and they have the right to be upset, they have the right to go through certain phases of their life when they are not okay,” the producer explains.

“As much as she is a strong woman, she’s talented but they are aspects of her life where she’s failing, where she’s not strong but she’s human,” she says.

Dumi says they had to sit down with Zahara and allow her not to be scared to share her weaknesses. She also says people need to learn that you need to surround yourself with family especially in difficult times.

CAN THE REALITY SHOW CLEAN UP HER IMAGE?

Tweeps have weighed in on what the show could be for Zahara should it be done correctly.

@sassie_Vee says, “I think this, if done correctly, can be a good way for her to clean up her image. She gets to show parts of her life that she wants to show and if she sticks to showing the positive parts of her life then this can be a great way for her to control the narrative around her name”.

“…it might just be the avenue she needs to tell her side of things without multiple interpretations from other sources. She is not the only one in SA with the name Zahara, so his might just what she needs to differentiate her persona,” says @AdomWinni.
