In the wake of his purchase, he has been trending on Twitter. The automobiles are reportedly being shipped from Europe, with the Cullinan already in Zimbabwe.

  • Rolls-Royce Cullinan – R16 million
  • Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS600 – R7 million

He also bought a 2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom and Rolls-Royce Ghost in April to furnish his craze for Rolls-Royces. The Rolls-Royce Ghost came with a price tag of R13 million.

However, little is known about the price of the Range Rover Sport.

This is not the first time he has hogged headlines with car purchases. A few years ago, he blessed his religious leaders with cars.

He lives lavishly and is regarded as one of the richest business tycoons in Zimbabwe. In recent years he has made Dubai his playground.

Against the backdrop of his acquisitions, social media was abuzz as Zimbabweans flooded into his comments section with comments of appraisal.

BUSINESS EMPIRE AND CONTROVERSY

Chivhayo rose to prominence after winning several Zimbabwean government contracts through his company Intratek Zimbabwe.

In 2017 he was awarded a multi-million rand contract with Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC).

However, he has had his fair share of drama. Chivayo was recently acquitted of misappropriating $5.6 million (R106.27 million) for the abortive 1000MW Gwanda Solar Project.

At some point, Chivhayo single-handedly sponsored the Zimbabwe national football team but later withdrew that sponsorship.
