WEDDING BELLS! Rouge set to wed her best friend, Ginger [PHOTOS]

If her engagement as announced in June by Celebs Now  made a point, then her dreamy traditional wedding definitely added an exclamation mark: Congolese-South African rap queen and TV presenter Rouge is officially off the market! 

She’s engaged and now traditionally married to her best friend and long-time sweetheart, Ginger Mac.

Hearts melted across the internet earlier this year when a clip of the star’s surprise wedding proposal after a church water baptism went viral. Their touching video which left fans swooning, captured that beyond a shadow of a doubt, the couple are blissfully deep in love with each other.

Keeping their close circle in the know, the company hosting the wedding ceremony announced the joyous event on Instagram, kicking off the excitement with a celebratory countdown.

A CELEBRATION OF LOVE AND CULTURE

True to tradition, Rouge and her partner celebrated their union with a customary traditional ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. In an Instagram post her fellow rapper, Moozlie, captioned “#ForeverMabaleka”, we see clips of how the traditional marriage went, appropriately featuring Rouge breathtakingly stunning as usual in traditional attire.

The occasion in itself was held true to its traditional standards. The bride herself shared highlights of the intimate event on her Instagram story where we can see the couple singing and dancing surrounded by close friends and family.

WOULD OTHER CELEBRITIES BE IN ATTENDANCE?

Popular rapper and close friend to the bride, Moozlie, joined in the celebration and took to Instagram to express her joy for the couple. “We have so many special memories but your wedding will forever be one of my favourites! I love you so much Rouge. You are the perfect bride ever. #ForeverMabaleka,” wrote Moozlie.

With the traditional ceremony complete, all eyes are peeled now in anticipation for Rouge’s upcoming white wedding, scheduled for tomorrow, December 9th. While Moozlie has been the sole familiar face among the guests so far, there’s a buzz of anticipation that more well-known personalities will join the festivities, making it a strong possibility that Rouge’s big day would be the event of the year.

However the relevant question still remains: what are the dress code colours for this much-anticipated occasion?
