South African-born musician Tyla is making headlines after she broke Master KG’s record for the most monthly listeners for a South African artist in Spotify history.

In the backdrop of her newfound fame with her smash hit ‘Water’, the star has been trending.

UNCLE WAFFLES AND TYLA’S DANCE MOVES BREAK INSTA

Against her big win, Tyla’s dance moves have wowed many and have since thrust her into top trends. In a now-viral video that has since flooded social media, the star was dancing with Uncle Waffles, and she proved to be a good dancer.

The video has since convinced many that she is a good dancer and has a talent to show.

In the short clip, she was seen dancing backstage and seemingly twerking. However, little is known about when the video was taken.

Tyla and Uncle Waffles were dancing to her smash hit ‘Water’, and they did justice to the now-trending dance challenge on TikTok.

In the backdrop of the now-viral clip, Mzansi flooded Maphepha Ndaba’s comments section after they dropped the video.

MAKING HEADLINES

She went down in the history books with her smash hit Water as the most streamed South African artist in a month on Spotify after Master KG’s Jerusalema.

The song broke Spotify’s top 40 global playlist with over 40 million streams. Water also made it on the Apple Music US chart and currently sits at number 65, above the likes of SZA and Lil Baby.
