Makhadzi, South Africa’s star musician is living her best life despite causing quite a mess in Botswana last week. The Ghanama hitmaker was set to perform there on 27 November but apparently arrived later than expected. This caused the concert-goers to become quite rowdy and even damaged some of the property while waiting for Makhadzi to take the stage.

She has since apologised and is now taking a “well-deserved” break in Polokwane.

Limpopo-born singer Makhadzi is a hot commodity right now and thousands maybe even millions of people have no problem lining up to see her perform.

A recent disaster has proven that they certainly aren’t willing to wait for more than a short period of time, however. The star caused quite a commotion over the weekend after arriving late for her performance at a Botswana stadium.

Zalebs reports that Makhadzi left her fans waiting which caused them to become out of control and damage property at the stadium.

The publication also reports that the fans were sprayed with pepper spray – and this aggravated them even more.

Taking a break

Meanwhile, Makhadzi apologised for arriving late and is now living her best life at Meropa Hotel and Casino in Polokwane.

After her performance, she headed to Facebook to explain that she was taking a small break at the hotel and did not want it to end.

“After a long weekend of lots of gigs, I choose to refresh my mind here today. The hospitality is amazing, I wish this could happen every day or maybe twice a week ???????????? I don’t want to leave this place ???????????? — at Meropa Hotel and Casino,” reads her post.
