Former finance minister Tito Mboweni turned 64 years on Thursday, 16 March, and took to his popular Twitter account to show off his beautiful birthday cake, which had Tweeps divided in the comment section after noting that they rarely see him eating something either than his own prepared meals.
It’s Tito Mboweni’s 64th birthday, and the former minister has switched things up on his timelines and posted dessert.
He posted a fancy cake decorated in a black tuxedo with three elegant candles sticking through it and shared that it was a gift for his birthday.

In another post, Mobweni shared he was making tinned fish as a snack on his special day and had followers roasting him and his cake.
The followers joked that they wondered whether the gifter knew Mboweni well enough to know to use his favourite ingredients such as tomatoes, garlic, mopane worms, and tinned fish when they prepared the cake.
Mboweni has found comfort in cooking at his home and sharing his famous recipes online.
He resigned from parliament in January 2022, just six months after ditching president Ramaphosa’s cabinet, News24 reported.
