Singer and former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Londie London is certainly having the last laugh after rumours she was down and out.

The Suk’ Emabhozeni singer celebrated Mother’s Day in style with a brand new home. Londie took to her Instagram stories to share the exciting news with the captions: “A happy Mother’s Day for me. “

Excited fans reposted her story and subsequently congratulated her.

The mom-of-two has been making boss moves since her split from her businessman husband, Hlubi Nkosi.

After announcing their separation in October last year, she went on to organised her first-ever festival called Evolve in November. The music, food and culture event — which was held in Witbank — featured a star-studded line-up with Somizi as the host and performances by K.O, Sjava, Kelvin Momo, DBN Gogo and many other artists including Londie herself.

In addition, last month, she ventured into the hair industry by launching her very own hairpiece called the Londie London Braid.

Prior to her booming hair venture, the musician made headlines after a close friend alleged that she was down and out and living with her parents in Mpumalanga.

The friend told Zimoja that Londie was spotted driving a Toyota Tazz.

“Things are tough but she is pushing and even does events in eMalahleni now,” the source said.

However, the reality TV star moved quickly to squash the rumors as she told TshisaLive that they were false and were causing damage to her brand.

“I am human too, and I also have emotions. I’d like to plead with everyone to stop spreading fake news as it causes a lot of damage to me and my family,” she told the publication.
