Smangele Mathibeli’s business empire has often thrust her into the top trends in recent years. In the wake of her newfound fame on small screens, Smangele Mathibeli – née Mbatha disappeared from the spotlight, leaving many wondering about her whereabouts.

She was best known for her on-screen character of Nomsa on Yizo Yizo.

However, she also starred in several drama series, including Zone 14 and Scandal, before taking another career path that has since seen her winning big.

SMANGELE MATHIBELI’S BUSINESS EMPIRE

According to TrueLove, she has since established herself as a business mogul and entrepreneur.

After small screens, she entered radio with Gagasi and Ukhozi FM.

The award-winning content producer later established a successful marketing and PR company with her friend.

The bubbly business mogul says she wasn’t pushed away from acting, but her burning desire to spread her wings and bring out the leader in her, brought about the switch in careers.

Speaking to TrueLove, Smangele Mathibeli said: “If I had stayed on and pursued acting, opportunities definitely would have come my way. But I know that I’m a leader and that I can only follow for a while. I got to a point where I wanted to lead, create and grow.”
