‘Looks sick’: Sho Madjozi body shamed by shameless Twitter trolls

‘She looks sick. O swere ke eng?’ a troll asked about Sho Madjozi who was quickly defended by many of her devoted fans on the platform.

South African musician Sho Madjozi — real name Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif — is working on new music and her fans cannot be more excited. Heading to Twitter, gossip blogger Musa Khawula shared a snippet of her latest song which received stellar reviews from app users. All the comments were nit positive however.

Some people in the comment section were of the opinion that the singer appeared to have lost a significant amount of weight and now appears sickly. She was quickly defended by other app users who didn’t agree with the body shaming.

It’s an exciting time for Sho Madjozi fans after she teased them with a snippet of the music video for her latest song, Ballotelli.

Because it’s been a long time since the muso made music, many appear to be super amped about her return to the scene.

The fun video was reshared on Twitter by gossip blogger Musa Khawula who captioned it, “Sho Madjozi is working on visuals for her single Ballotelli.”

Mzansi has varying reactions

Many people appear to absolutely love the song and have sung her praises in the comment section.

“Like she’s such a natural maan, her music is really rooted in her character than influence of image. This song is simple yet proper,” one person wrote.

Other people however noticed the singer’s body and ignored the song altogether.

“She looks sick, O swere ke eng?” a troll commented. The statement was quickly slammed by the singer’ fans who told him where to get off.

“She was never fat bro,that’s just how she is…ai lena la lapiša,” one fan clapped back.
