Queen gives update on King as William visits Kate in hospital

Prince William visited Kate Middleton in hospital as she recovering while Queen gives an update on King Charles.

The Prince of Wales, William reportedly visited the hospital where his wife, Princess Kate is recovering while Queen Camilla gave a health update on King Charles.

QUEEN CAMILLA GIVES UPDATE ON KING CHARLES

Prince William visited his wife, Princess Kate Middleton in hospital after she underwent abdominal surgery, according to The Independent. The Prince of Wales reportedly drive himself from London Clinic in an Audi e-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung and was followed by a Land Rover Discovery.

Kate Middleton is believed to remain in hospital for 10-14 days.

This comes as Queen Camilla revealed that her husband, King Charles is “fine” and looking forward to going back to work as he awaits for treatment for an enlarged prostate. Buckingham Palace said that King Charles’ condition is benign and part of a corrective procedure.

All public engagements have been postponed as he recuperates.

PRINCESS KATE HOSPITALISED

Kensington Palace announced that Kate was recovering from abdominal surgery via a statement on Wednesday 17 January. The Princess of Wales underwent a “planned abdominal surgery” at The London Clinic on Tuesday 16 January, according to People.

The mom of three will only return to her public duties after Easter.

“The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter,” read the statement.

“The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private,” the statement continued.

“Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share,” the statement added.
