Prince William was seen attending the 2024 BAFTAs all by himself at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday, 18 February, as Princess Kate recovers from her “planned abdominal surgery”.

PRINCE WILLIAM ATTENDS THE 2024 BAFTAS
Prince William has been the president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010.
The heir to the throne looked handsome as he wore a navy velvet tuxedo jacket with black lapels, black trousers and a white shirt.
The Prince was joined by the likes of Margot Robbie, Naomi Campbell, Emily Blunt, Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett and Emma Stone.
While at the BAFTAs Prince William was seen chatting to Cate Blanchett.
William’s attendance at the 77th BAFTAs was announced and confirmed on Friday, 17 February by Kensington Palace.
“The Prince, President of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) will watch the Awards ceremony before meeting category winners and EE Rising Star Award nominees,” the statement from Kensington Palace shared.
Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are regular attenders of the awards ceremony.

KATE MIDDLETON MISSES BAFTAS DUE TO RECOVERY
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, was unfortunately forced to take a rain check on this year’s BAFTAs after undergoing a “planned abdominal surgery” in January.
“The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery, The Princess of Wales is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter,” a statement from Kensington Palace noted.
According to media outlet Page Six, William’s appearance at the BAFTAs comes after he took one week off his royal duties to look after his wife and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, during their school holidays.
