R152k a night: Prince Harry and Meghan enjoy luxury hotel

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a luxury stay at a hotel costing a whopping R152k a night in Palm Beach, Florida.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, enjoyed a glitzy and pricey weekend away in Miami staying at a resort that costs R152 000 a night.


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex take Miami! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stayed in Miami for the weekend while attending a series of star-studded polo events. The pair were spotted hanging out with their famous friends.

According to Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stayed in a luxurious hotel, which cost $8000 a night. So, this equates to an estimated R152 000. The hotel was reportedly the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach, which is one of the most expensive properties in the area.

Prince Harry and Meghan enjoyed a very glitzy weekend in Miami, attending a series of star-studded polo events, hanging out with their celebrity friends – and enjoying a stay in a luxurious $8,000-a-night resort.

A source spotted Prince Harry and Meghan “walking through the pool area” of the hotel on Saturday, 13 April, according to Hello! Magazine. The pair were spotted at the 2024 Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Wellington, Florida, on Friday, 12 April.


Prince Harry and Meghan’s appearance at the 2024 Royal Salute Polo Challenge comes after Netflix announced that the pair have two new shows in the early stages of production. Sky News reported that one show will explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship.”

While the second show takes viewers on the journey of the world of professional polo shot primarily at the Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. So, was this for the show?

“The second series offers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo, shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. The series will pull back the curtain on the sport, known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, capturing the full story of what it takes to compete at its highest level,” according to Netflix.

The series will be produced by Boardwalk Productions. Prince Harry and Meghan serve as executive producers along with Chanel Pysnik for Archewell Productions; Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, and Dane Lillegard for Boardwalk Pictures; and Miloš Balać and Ian Samplin.

Prince Harry and Meghan stepped away from their duties as senior working members of the royal family in 2020. So, the pair then moved to California where they started a new life with their family. Prince Harry and Meghan are parents to Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2).

The pair reportedly signed a deal with Netflix worth $100 million (R1.9 billion), according to Forbes.
