Meghan Markle has finished filming her new Netflix show. A Hollywood insider spilled the beans on this exciting project.

The untitled show celebrates cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship.

MEGHAN MARKLE’S NEW SHOW

It was filmed in a luxurious mansion close to Meghan’s Montecito home.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, filmed the show under Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.

The project is part of Meghan and Harry’s $100 million (R 1 842 345 700) Netflix deal, according to Daily Mail.

A source revealed, “It all went well, and it is in the can.”

Meghan, Prince Harry, 39, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, live just two miles away from the filming location.

MEGHAN MARKLE AND AMERICAN RIVIERA ORCHARD

The mother-of-two was recently spotted in a Los Angeles park. Fans speculated it was for the new show.

However, insiders claimed it was unrelated, saying, “The team had already got everything they needed.”

Filming started shortly after Meghan sent out pots of homemade jam from her brand, American Riviera Orchard, according to the Tatler.

The jam was a hit among her friends and family. Fashion designer Tracy Robbins even posted a picture of Meghan’s jam, praising its taste.

MEGHAN MARKLE SHOOTS IN MONTECITO

Filming took place at two separate locations. In April, Meghan spent a day at Florabundance, a beautiful florist in Carpinteria.

The next day, production trucks lined the driveway of a $5 million (R 91 509 730) property.

This stunning house is set in eight acres of avocado and lemon groves in Montecito.

The property belongs to Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, prominent figures in Montecito society, according to the New York Post.

They are generous donors to local causes, including the Storyteller Center, a preschool for children facing adversities.

NETFLIX DEAL

Michael Steed will direct Meghan’s show.

He worked on Anthony Bourdain’s Emmy-winning Parts Unknown.

The showrunner is Leah Hariton, known for Selena Gomez’s HBO cooking show, Selena + Chef.

Alex Dandino, production manager of that show, is also involved in Meghan’s project.

Rumour has it that professional chefs might join Meghan for some cook-alongs.

The couple’s first Netflix launch was their six-part documentary Harry and Meghan, released in 2022.

The documentary stirred controversy with its revelations about the royal family.

In March, Meghan launched her brand, American Riviera Orchard, on Instagram.

NEED FOR CONNECTION

Fans have likened it to her now-defunct blog, The Tig.

The brand aims to sell a wide range of household products, including skincare, make-up, gardening equipment, scented candles, and even dog food.

The couple made a statement about their Netflix deal.

“Our lives, independent of each other and as a couple, have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit.

It lets us see the importance of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.

STAR-STUDDED PRODUCTION

We work with diverse communities and their environments, to shine a light on people and causes worldwide. Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.”

As Meghan’s new show wraps up filming, fans eagerly await its release.

With its star-studded production team and heartfelt themes, it’s sure to be a hit.
