A former royal butler claims that Kate Middleton’s photo-editing fail has caused more harm than good in silencing speculation about her well-being.

ROYAL BUTLER WEIGHS IN ON KATE MIDDLETON’S PHOTOSHOP FAIL

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made headlines earliest this week when she publicly apologised for her Photoshop fail after sharing a photo of herself with her kids for Mother’s Day. Princess Kate has three kids with her husband Prince William – Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).

King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, said that the photo-editing fail has caused concern over her well-being after she was admitted for abdominal surgery.

“Of course, it does cause concern because everybody is over-analyzing it at the moment, and everybody is worried about her and is looking to see for any kind of signs,” he said, according to New York Post.

“If it hadn’t been for her taking this time out, the photo editing really wouldn’t have been much of a story,” Harrold continued.

“It would’ve been a case of simply acknowledging that they’ve edited the photo a bit, and then it would be over and done with,” he added.

This comes after sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weighed in on the situation.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE PHOTOSHOP FAIL

It all started when Princess Kate shared a photo of herself with her three kids. Take a look…

“Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day,” she captioned the photo.

Cosmopolitan reported that agencies took down the photo because of “manipulation” concerns. Kate soon apologised after her Photoshop fail via a tweet on the Kensington Royal Twitter page on Monday, 11 March. She expressed that she occasionally experiments with photo-editing.

“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day,” she tweeted.

Sky News reported the photo had been saved in photo-editing software Adobe Photoshop twice on an Apple Mac, which was found through metadata.
