In a rare sighting, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, emerged for the first time in over two months. This is after she had abdominal surgery.

KATE MIDDLETON RECOVERING

The 42-year-old royal, known for her elegance and grace, was photographed in the passenger seat of a sleek black Audi SUV near Windsor Castle. She was being driven by none other than her mother, Carole Middleton as reported by PageSix.

Attempting to maintain a low profile, Kate donned black sunglasses. She also had her hair flowing freely as she accompanied her mom on an undisclosed outing.

KATE MIDDLETON SEEN FOR THE FIRST TIME

The photographs, capturing this royal excursion, surfaced after Kate’s last public appearance on 25 December 2023. She, alongside Prince William and their three children, celebrated Christmas at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk, England.

The surgery, described as a “planned abdominal surgery,” took place on 16 January 2024, as revealed by Kensington Palace less than a month later.

The official statement on Instagram assured the public of its success. It also revealed that Kate would spend ten to fourteen days in the hospital, followed by a recovery period at home.

An additional note mentioned her likely return to public duties after Easter, slated for 31 March 2024.

PRINCE WILLIAM’S ABSENCE AT MEMORIAL SERVICE

However, recent speculations arose when Prince William unexpectedly withdrew from a memorial service for the late King Constantine II of Greece. He cited undisclosed “personal reasons.”

Amidst online chatter about Kate’s recovery and well-being, a spokesperson from Kensington Palace reassured the public that she was “doing well”.

KING CHARLES’ DIAGNOSIS

They also emphasized the palace’s commitment to providing only “significant updates.”

In a peculiar turn of events, the same period witnessed King Charles III undergoing a routine prostate procedure, later revealing a diagnosis of cancer.

Expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support, the King swiftly resumed his royal duties less than three weeks after recovery from the health setback. He engaged in official meetings with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Buckingham Palace on 21 February.
