High maintenance, low tolerance: Meet the ‘RHOJ’ S3 cast [watch]

The long-awaited #RHOJ season three will finally premiere on Friday, 19 May, with four new cast members after a long hiatus.

The Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ) are back and ready to serve glam and drama as the show’s third season premieres on Friday, 19 May, on 1 Magic, channel 103 on DStv.

After a long hiatus in 2021, due to an alleged altercation between former cast members Christall Kay, Brinette Seopela and DJ Tira’s wife, Gugu Khathi.

As a result, the show is returning with a new cast, with only two old cast members returning – Lethabo LeJoy Mathato and Lebo Jojo Mokoena.

In addition, entertainment commentator Phil Mphela revealed that one other member, content creator and social media influencer Tshwanelo “Twazzy” Lekhuleni was dropped while shooting.

The show is introducing four new ladies. Here’s what we know about them so far…

1. NICOLE WATSON

Nicole Watson is an actress and she is in the public relations (PR) industry.

RHOJ producer Sonia Mbele confirmed that the actress will be in the third season in an interview on Kaya FM last year.

2. MAMUS KOKA

YouTuber Mamus Koka wears many hats. Besides vlogging on the video content creation platform, she is also a Human Resource Manager, mum and wife.

While working in administration was never one of her dreams, although she enjoys it now, Mamus told Jideka Official last year that she is letting go of her TV dream — this was before RHOJ came knocking.

3.THOBEKILE MDLALOSE

Thobekile Mdlalose is in the business of promoting good health. The 34-year-old got into the business after her husband Sunny Mdlalose was hospitalised for a major ulcer operation.

The mom-of-four studied video technology and began her career in video editing. She later worked as a television producer and director.

4. KEABETSWE MAREMA

Another cast member who will be letting Mzansi into her life on RHOJ is Keabetswe Marema.

Keabetswe is the founder and owner of a children’s clothing and bedding brand called Leware Kids. She is also a mom of three and a wife. She has a B-Tech degree from Tshwane University of Technology.
