‘Career suicide’: Reasons behind Unathi Nkayi’s Kaya FM exit revealed

Celebrated radio host Unathi Nkayi is making headlines after reasons behind her Kaya FM exit made rounds on social media.

Sunday World reports that the award-winning radio host was axed after failing to apologise to Sizwe Dhlomo for “falsely accusing” him.

REASONS BEHIND UNATHI NKAYI’S EXIT REVEALED

The bubbly radio host accused Dhlomo of hurling profanities at her while in the studio. Against these allegations, the station extended an olive branch to Nkayi even after falsely accusing Dhlomo of wrongdoing.

The station’s internal investigation found the radio host guilty after her daring allegations against Dhlomo. Rumour mill has it that Nkayi refused to apologise appropriately to Dhlomo in the backdrop of lenience.

Several reports have it that she was given an ultimatum to apologise to Dhlomo but ‘refused’ to do so. Her actions left the station with no choice but to dismiss her with immediate effect.

ON-GOING LAWSUIT COURT CASE

She has since dragged the station to the courts for unfair dismissal. However, in the backdrop of these revelations, the bubbly radio host has kept her side of the story and is keen to continue fighting the station through the courts.
