‘I’m happy’: Pearl Thusi’s daughter meets Kelly Rowland
Pearl Thusi shared a clip of her daughter Thando Mokoena in the arms of Kelly Rowland taken while the American singer was in South Africa.

Pearl Thusi surprised her daughter Thando Mokoena by having one of her celebrity friends introduce her to Kelly Rowland. The actress took to Instagram on 20 December to share how Thando reacted when she met the American singer.
The video was taken during the week Rowland was in Mzansi to attend the Bruit Fruit campaign.

In the short clip, the 15-year-old was balling her eyes out in total stardom of Beyoncé’s bestie. Rowland wrapped her arms around the overwhelmed teenager.
When sharing the video to her social media, the South African media personality wrote,
“By the way… this happened… The humility, the kindness…”
Thusi thanked Billboard Women In Music Exceptive Yvette Gayle for recording the meeting.

WHAT DID THANDO MOKOENA AND THE AMERICAN SINGER DISCUSS?
In the video, the Motivation hit-maker could be heard telling the South African presenter’s daughter that she was glad to be in her company.
“I’m so happy you’re here to eat with us on Sunday,” Rowland said.
In her excitement, Mokoena replied, “You’re happy I am here? I’m happy you’re here. I just walked in because we were about to go have lunch,” Mokoena replied.
Rowland chucked at Mokoena’s wit.
Thusi’s daughter was as graceful as she could have been when she met the Destiny’s Child former member. Her humble personality radiated through even when she seemed to not have had any control over her emotions.

Other celebrities who follow @pearlthusi on Instagram as well as the media personality’s fans followers were envious of Mokoena.
Minnie Dlamini and Nhlanhla Mafu were some of the top names that appeared to celebrate Mokoena in the comment section. One of Thusi’s online followers wrote: “That’s what you call tears of joy”
Rowland shared pictures on Twitter on 12 December 2022 announcing her departure. She called Mzansi her second home and said, “S.A, Thank you for filling my cup with so much love. Til next time!”
