Former Orlando Pirates legend Doctor Siyabonga Sangweni is making headlines in the backdrop of his birthday.
The Orlando Pirates legend has managed to keep his private life under wraps, leaving many to guess since his retirement in 2016.

Despite keeping his private life under wraps, Mzansi connected with the dots about his age in the backdrop of his birthday.
No doubt many were more than puzzled by Siyabonga Sangweni’s age.
The 42-year-old celebrated centre-back was born on 29 September 1981 in Empangeni, South Africa. Social media has been flooded with birthday wishes since the news of his birthday dropped.

Despite being one of the most celebrated stars to ever play for Orlando Pirates, Sangweni was forced into retirement in the backdrop of career-threatening injuries.
He had his shot to fame with his illustrious stint with Golden Arrows, where he made 150 appearances before he joined Pirates in 2011. The South African defender went on to make a name for himself with the Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.

The Orlando Pirates legend had a six-year stint with the DStv Premier League outfit. His retirement was announced on 7 April 2016 in a press conference by Orlando Pirates’ chairman Irvin Khoza.

Over the years, he has hosted several soccer tournaments, with the Siyabonga Sangweni Tournament in Emphangeni being the most recent.
His clinics have nurtured youngsters and allowed them to showcase their talents.
On the other hand, he has been vocal in footballing matters and has often featured in several commentaries over the years.
