On Sunday last week, controversial gossip blogger Musa Khawula shockingly exchanged blows with South African actor and media personality Moshe Ndiki. Clips of the altercation have gone viral as Musa explained that he is opening a criminal case and also starting a petition to get Moshe removed from his TV roles.

The petition has surprisingly gained some momentum as Musa’s fans headed over to the page to show him their support by offering their signatures.

Musa gains over 1k signatures on his Moshe petition

South Africans have not stopped talking about Musa Khawula and Moshe Ndiki’s physical altercation on Sunday 20 August last week.

While Moshe has not said anything about his alleged attack of the blogger, Musa confirmed that a case has been opened and that Moshe is being “investigated”.

He also shared a link to the petition he created to get Moshe, who acts in local soapie Gomora, to get booted from all of his roles on TV.

“This behavior is unacceptable and criminal and I am wondering if Gomora supports this kind of behavior. Moshe Ndiki is an influencer and his behavior can never be tolerated to have actors who are highly violent and influence young people to be just as violent,” reads an excerpt from the petition written by Musa.

Surprisingly, the petition has gained over 1000 signatures from people who feel like Moshe must pay the price for physically attacking their favourite gossip monger.

Celebs have mixed reactions

Even Nota Baloyi has offered Musa his support.

Meanwhile media personality Anele Mdoda was heavily criticised online after she offered Moshe support after hearing that he had beaten Musa up.

Heading to her Twitter page, the 947 radio host joked that she wanted to send Moshe flowers as what can only be perceived as a thank you for hitting Musa who has been described as problematic by many.

Unfortunately, this didn’t bode well with many Twitter users who accused her of supporting abuse and violence – something they say is unacceptable from a celebrity with influence.
