Miss SA 2023 host Bonang Matheba to wear R60k dress

Celebrated media personality Bonang Matheba will be headlining the Miss SA 2023 finale set for 13 August 2023 at the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria.

The Miss SA Organisation revealed that the bubbly media personality affectionately known as Queen B will be hosting the beauty pageant for the third time.

QUEEN B TO HOST MISS SOUTH AFRICA 2023 FINALE

Matheba is not new to the pageant; she has hosted Miss SA over the years. In 2014 she was part of the judging panel and also hosted the competition in 2018 and 2019. Again in 2023, she was honoured to host the beauty pageant.

After all, she has the plug and the bling and knows how to put on a show.

However, with a few days left before the beauty pageant Metro FM hosted the celebrated media personality, who dived on what to expect.

BONANG MATHEBA TO WEAR R60K DRESS

In her interview with DJ Sabby, she revealed that she will be cladding a $3200 dress which amounts to R60 000.

Bonang Matheba has it that she will wear a R60k dress because Miss SA is a big platform which needs to be treated as such since several people across the globe will be in attendance, including Miss Universe and other global dignitaries.

Bonang also said: “I planned for this, it’s my job, this is what I do. This is for me, it’s my Superbowl performance. We’re dressing for where we want to go, not for where we are.”

Apart from hosting her House of BNG, Cap Classique is also the official Miss South Africa celebration sponsor.

Bonang also recently revealed that she was pleased and honoured to host the beauty pageant.

The bubbly media personality made it known that hosting one of Africa’s biggest beauty pageants and being part of the footprint is exciting.
