Mazet is out: Actress Siphesihle Ndaba’s emotional farewell as she left Gomora

Gomora actress Siphesihle Ndaba who played Mazet, left fans an emotional farewell message as she left the show.

It’s been a wonderful three years with Gomora, and Mazet has grown to be an immense character. When Siphesihle joined the show, she was only one of the young upcoming stars alongside Ntokozo ‘Ntobeko Sishi’, Nandipha Khubone ‘Sibongile’, and others. Thank God, the Mazet role gave Siphesihle a breakthrough she had been waiting for years.

As she gives her farewell today, Siphesihle is an entirely different profile from when she joined. Now, she is one of the hottest actresses of her age, she has a huge fan following, and it will only take a few months before she is back on the screen. What a performance she produced playing Mazet, a fan-favourite character.

A few weeks ago, Mzansi Magic announced that Gomora would enter its last season, leaving many fans disappointed. Indeed, this all meant that many actors would be going more frequently. Today. It’s Mazet’s time as she gives her emotional farewell.

Sharing on her Instagram, Siphesihle expressed how much this all meant to her. She thanks her workmates and employers for giving her the job that changed her life. She also acknowledged that.

MAZET ROLE ON GOMORA

On Gomora, Siphesihle’s Mazet role was a complex character. She had moods nobody could understand and always preferred to solve things with blood. Mazet was a tough lady who provided a proper wrong role for her mother, MamSonto ‘Connie Chiume’.
