Luke Fish – the son of retired soccer star Mark Fish – made headlines this week after he revealed that he had chosen to seek treatment for his drug addiction at a rehabilitation centre.

In an interview with You Magazine, the 24-year-old reflected on his difficult childhood and estrangement from his father.

He also opened up about his new chapter stemming from his healthy, clean lifestyle.

Famous parents

Luke Fish is the firstborn child of Mark Fish and his first wife Loui. He has a younger brother named Zeke (21) and two half-siblings Isabella and Blake, who Mark shares with his second wife Salomé Janse van Rensburg.

In his interview with You Magazine, Luke claims that his parents’ wild parties exposed him to drugs and led him to be physically and sexually abused. He also claims that his parents had a very abusive marriage

He developed PTSD as a result.

Rapper

Unlike his soccer star dad Mark Fish, Luke Fish pursued a different career path as a rapper.

Luke used the alias “Seth Omens”, which he claimed was his “dark alter ego”.

Luke rapped about his experiences like abusing drugs and his parent’s volatile relationship.

Child model

Like his good-looking dad – who he is a dead doppelganger for – Luke Fish pursued modelling as a child.

He is currently signed to talent agency MMM Agency in Cape Town

Rehab

In his interview with You Magazine, Luke Fish revealed how and why he sought professional help at a Cape Town rehab centre.

He said: “My mother would wake me up in the middle of the night to check if I was breathing.

“I think that was my turning point. As soon as I realised I could die in my sleep, I went into recovery.”

His drugs of choice were prescription medication, heroin, and marijuana.

Following his decision to get clean, Luke Fish has set up a YouTube channel chatting with former addicts and experts.
