Camels, outfit changes, & A-listers: Inside MaMkhize’s Thanksgiving party

Anything is possible for MaMkhize who just had a Thanksgiving party in April. And yes, it was a night to remember for all in attendance.

KwaZulu-Natal businesswoman and reality TV star Shauwn Mkhize aka MaMkhize just celebrated her birthday and you can already bet it was a glorious affair. While she spent the day in Miami living her best life frequenting high-end shops and doing a bit of yacht shopping, the celebrations didn’t end there.

This weekend, MaMkhize decided to throw a massive “Thanksgiving” party in Johannesburg’s fancy Sandton.

MaMKhize throws lavish “Thanksgiving party” to celebrate her birthday

If you’ve been following MaMkhize, then you know, she is all about the glitz and glam. The socialite and philanthropist just celebrated her birthday on 6 April this year and it was a grand affair indeed.

While most of her birthday was spent in sunny Miami, she made sure that her South African friends were able to share the special day with her by throwing a huge Egyptian-themed Thanksgiving party in Sandton.

Taking to her Instagram page on Saturday 9 April, MaMkhize shared snaps and videos from the lavish event that showed her entering the party on the back of donkeys while wearing a fancy white ensemble with pearl and feather detailing.

Once her grand entrance was complete, she changed into a breathtaking African print dress and even changed her hairstyle.

In attendance were some of Mzansi’s most rich and famous such as Kenny Kunene, Thembi Seete, Kefilwe Mabote, and media personality Tarina Patel.

Of course, MaMkhize’s spoiled son Andile Mpisane was there with his heavily pregnant wife Tamia Mpisane and his bestie Shaun Stylist all of who were dressed like royalty.

Top-notch entertainment

As expected, there were a number of performances by some of the country’s best musicians such as Ringo Madlingozi, Dj Oskido, and even Andile performed.

The crowd was also treated to a big dancefloor where everyone got to show off their big moves.
