It looks like Springbok rugby player, Franco Mostert is no stranger to a ‘mani pedi’ or make-up as his daughters seemingly enjoy playing ‘beauty therapists’.
The Springbok player, Franco Mostert’s wife, Juan-Ri recently shared the most adorable video, in which the couple’s daughters treat other Springbok players to a makeover.
It seems that their two daughters, the four-year-old Joai-Bell and the two-year-old Jemi-Milja are the official makeup artists for the Springbok rugby team.
The video comes after the Springbok team and their families stayed at a hotel – the so-called ‘bio-bubble’ – in anticipation of the 2021 British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa.
In the video, Joai-Belle can be seen putting make-up on Eben Etzebeth. Franco’s toenails are also painted.
“I think everyone in the team knew that their turn would come because Franco’s toenails are always painted with nail polish or his make-up is fixed,” Juan-Ri told Huisgenoot.
Cobus Reinach and his son, Righardt also get ‘treatments’ in the video.
“All the love and patience these guys have with the kids. it’s heartwarming… isn’t it?” she later wrote on Instagram. “This video pretty much summarizes the Mostert-girls’ time in the Bio-bubble. What an amazing group of people! I mean, what a team! Like family… I’m grateful.”
As of 17 August, the video clocked in over 10 000 views with many saying that it is absolutely adorable.
“This video made my day…proudly South Africa,” said one Instagram user. “Sooo darn cute,” said another.
“Not your usual kind of Boks…these guys are next level.”
Franco and Juan-Ri are still living in Japan, where he plays for the Honda Heat rugby club. He is currently preparing for the Springboks’ second test against Argentina this coming weekend.
