‘Please fight sisi’: Mbuyiseni Ndlozi shares well wishes with Zahara

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi was accused of ‘fishing for likes’ after he headed online to share well wishes with a very ill Zahara.

South African politician Mbuyiseni Ndlozi is one of many who are currently sharing well wishes with local singer Zahara. This after it was reported that the Loliwe hitmaker has been hospitalised and is “fighting for her life”. Heading online, the Economic Freedom Fighter leader shared numerous posts about the singer who has previously performed at a number of EFF rallies and is a perceived supporter of the party.

Many in the comment section hurried to share well wishes and prayers with Zahara. Others, however, accused Mbuyiseni of “fishing for likes” with his posts.

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi wishes Zahara a speedy recovery

South Africans across the country were left reeling after hearing that Zahara was hospitalised.

According to reports, the singer is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and may need a liver transplant as hers is “severely damaged”.

“Her liver is severely scarred and she may need a liver transplant,” said a source told local publication Zimoja.

In 2019, the singer was hospitalised for the same reason and was reportedly told by doctors to stop consuming alcohol in order to preserve her liver.

And now many of her fans have headed online to share well wishes with the star who is also reportedly struggling to pay her medical bills.

One of those people is the EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi. Heading online, the politician wrote:

“Please fight sisi… fight, fight and fight hard. We are all with you”

Mzansi joins in

In the comment section, many joined Mbuyiseni in wishing her well. Others accused him of using her situation for clout:

“To all those who have access to see her, tell her that we LOVE her so much. We will pray until something happens,” one person commented while another added:

“I wish you guys payed her visit when she needs you most. Lento yenu of fishing for likes on social must come to an end! it’s boring now.”
