‘So skinny’: Young Stunna vows to delete his throwback photo

South African vocalist Young Stunna promised to delete one of his throwback photos as fans said he looked skinny.

South African musician Young Stunna shared his throwback photo on 22 February, and fans noticed he was skinny.

Young Stunna is among the most famous Amapiano vocalists, and some fans rank him among the best. His hit songs like Adiwele and Monday Boys Holiday impressed fans and had a lot of followers on YouTube.

Young Stunna has been known for his love of top fashion and current trends in recent years. This is not the same as what he had been some years ago when he was still younger.

Sharing on his Instagram, he was even shocked with how much he had changed; he left some of his fellow celebrities, like hip-hop rapper Cassper Nyovest, wishing him to be blessed by God.

“May God keep blessing you, champ. You’re such a talent.” Cassper said.

The talented vocalist had tinted his head white in the picture, and his clothes shocked fans. Sharing about his life before fame, Young Stunna penned a heartfelt message thanking God for changing his life.

“I can tell you a story and make both of us cry about it; came a long way, you, I deserve to shine 😭,” he said.

“Thank God I met Papta and Uncle Phorry; God bless everyone I met and worked with through this journey; your situation is never your destination.” he continued. “Deleting this one soon, no ways. 😭🙆🏽‍♂️” he vowed to delete the photo.”


Young Stunna came a long way when he was still a teenager, and some of his throwback photos looked so different from what he looks today. He started as a hip-hop musician before he switched to Amapiano and found his breakthrough.

After his breakthrough, he made top songs and became one of the most followed artists in the country. He won Notumalo’s Best Selling Artist award in 2022 to show his rise and growth in the music industry.
