‘Women want me to take them as number 6’: Mseleku addresses fifth wife rumours

Uthando Nesthembu reality TV star Musa Mseleku has revealed that women are already proposing marriage to him following rumours he has taken Umkhokha: The Curse actress, Ntokozo “Goldivah” Mzulwini, as his fifth wife.

During an interview with TshisaLIVE, the polygamist and TV presenter addressed the rumours which spread on social media like wildfire on Tuesday, 16 April.
A viral photograph shared by Mzansi Magic, which broadcasts Uthando Nesthembu, set tongues wagging as Mseleku and the actress were seen seated next to each other and holding hands. Standing around them were his wives, Mbali “MaNgwabe”, Thobile “MaKhumalo”, Busisiwe “MaCele” and Nokukhanya “Mayeni”.
Two weeks ago, Mseleku shared a cosy picture of him and Mzulwini on his Instagram with the caption “Abahambe abahambayo” which translates to “those who want to leave can leave.”
Beside her role as KaMadondo (Ndlovu’s wife) on Umkhokha, Mzulwini has also played the character of Lindiwe Msweli, a waitress on the defunct e.tv series Imbewu: The Seed.
THE PAIR HAD NEVER MET
Following the commotion on social media, it was later revealed that it was for an advertisment for the DStv channel.
Mseleku explained: “Mzansi Magic has always been so creative in promoting their shows. In their wisdom, they realise that the story of wife number five as far as I am concerned… Is a big story. So when the channel approached us to do this promo we saw an opportunity to revive our story by agreeing to shoot it.”
He said he had never met Mzulwini before shooting the ad.
“I have no issues with Ntokozo Mzulwini but it was for the first time I met her when she visited my homestead for that shoot.”
The father-of-10, who also hosts Mzansi Magic’s Mnakwethu, said more and more women have come out to ask him to them as wife number six.
“I have never expressed intentions to take her as a wife and I feel very sorry for her for what she went through on social media. But as if that is not enough, it has made me realise what my number five will go through, and on the other side it is good because it is preparing her mentally to be strong.
“I am also amazed by women who are saying please take us as number six. That should tell you that not all women are entirely against polygamy. At the end of the day, it depends on Indlovukazi Mamkhulu MaCele whether we will take wife number five or six.”
In season six of the reality series, Mseleku had retired the idea of taking a fifth wife due to division among his wives. At the time, Mseleku’s two wives – numbers two and four, MaYeni and MaNgwabe – threatened to leave him should he introduce another woman into their family.
The businessman had previously revealed that his dream is to have 20 children and because his wives could not give him more, he needed more wives.
