Rachel Kolisi shocked fans as she sang Gwijo songs alongside her husband, the Springboks captain Siya Kolisi.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel impressed fans by singing Gwijo music.
Gwijos are Xhosa songs usually sung in events such as sporting or traditional events. Siya Kolisi usually sang them when leading the Springboks out of the tunnel in most of their games.

It’s been a few great weeks for the couple since coming out of the Rugby World Cup victorious. After leaving France with the Trophy, Siya and Rachel celebrated around the country, which was great. Siya Kolisi was a prominent singer all this time, cheering the fans alongside some players like Damian Willemse.

All this showed how good a singer Siya Kolisi was; he seemed to have more significant ideas about music. He shared on his Instagram he was singing as his wife Rachel learned the new music.

Rachel listened closely at the song’s start, trying not to lose the lyrics and tune.
Conversely, Siya Kolisi was loud, and he looked like he was getting emotional as the song went by.

After a couple of lines, Rachel realized that she was doing well, and she started smiling as his voice rose.
Seeing Rachel singing that well gave Siya the idea of starting his Gwijo choir.
