FERRARI SF90 SPIDER SPOTTED IN SA

The video was shared on Instagram by famous car spotter Demontimeza. He captioned the now-viral video, “SF90 Spider with a very expensive wheel option. Perfect car to celebrate.”

The video has since gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped. Petrolheads have since given the car a nod. However, against the trends, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about the owner of the car and its price tag.

Undoubtedly, the unavailability of registration number plates left many to guess about the owner. Fans were quick to implicate several car enthusiasts who have hogged headlines with their impressive car collections in recent years.

WHY IS IT SPECIAL?

Many have been wondering why the Ferrari SF90 Spider is topping trends. The car boasts not only exclusivity but also top-class performance. However, the number of Ferrari SF90 Spiders on the market is unknown.

However, confirmed reports show that there are 599 Ferrari SF90 XX Spiders and 799 units of the SF90 XX Stradale. These two models are track-focused versions of the SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider.

The cars are road-legal despite being track-focused. However, both models can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. It has a top speed of 340 km/h.

However, a Ferrari SF90 Stradale has a base price tag of R13 million in several dealerships in South Africa.

On an official pre-owned Ferrari website in the United States, the least-priced Ferrari SF90 Spider is R13 million. However, according to Business Tech, the last listed Ferrari S90 in South Africa was on sale for R14 million.
