Notorious criminal Thabo Bester and his girlfriend, disgraced doctor Nandipha Magudumana made their first court appearance this year at the Free State High Court in Bloemfontein on Wednesday 21 February.
‘WASTE OF TIME’: THABO BESTER AND DR NANDIPHA’S COURT CASE POSTOPNED
Convicted murder and Facebook rapist Thabo Bester and his lover, doctor Nandipha Magudumana made their first appearance in court this year. The lovebirds were napped in Tanzania in April last year while on the run together.
They have been locked up in separate prisons since their last court date in October last year. Magudumana arrived in court this morning from Bizzah Makhate Correctional Centre in Kroonstad. Whereas, Bester came from the C-Max section of Pretoria’s Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre.
Bester, Magudumana, and her father, as well as six others face a raft of charges including defeating the ends of justice, fraud, corruption, violating a corpse, aiding, and more. This after they were linked to Bester’s brazen escape from the Mangaung Correctional Center in May 2022.
According to Kaya FM, unlike the past times Bester and his bae rubbed shoulders in court, this time, Magudumana walked right past her lover and co-accused without making eye contact.
Their court case was postponed to continued on 5 June, TshisaLIVE reported. Social media users have since taken to the comment section on X (the social media platform previously known as Twitter) to leave their thoughts and comments regarding the new set court date.
