After three days of training assessment, SuperSport United has reportedly parted ways with former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat.

SuperSport United has dropped former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat after training with the club for three days. The star has been training with the Pretoria-based outfit ahead of his rumoured return to competitive football.

After three days of training, it has been reported that the club has dumped the star in the eleventh hour.

Against the reports, Khama Billiat was also not part of Monday’s club training session. Sunday World reports that SuperSport United CEO Stan Mathews confirmed the latest developments.

“We are not going to sign him, so it’s pointless to continue training,” said Mathews, speaking to Sunday World.

However, it is unclear why Hunt excused the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kiazer Chiefs star. The news has since thrust Khama Billiat into the top trends, with many trying to connect the dots about his future.

Khama Billiat is yet to share an update on the failed transfer move. Billiat made headlines in 2023 after he left Kaizer Chiefs.

TRANSFER WOES

He left Kaizer Chiefs after refusing a salary cut. Khama Billiat went awol and even went off the hook on social media, only to return after months. Several clubs reportedly showed interest in signing the star, but nothing materialised.

Unconfirmed reports have it that there were also several offers from Saudi Arabia clubs. With the latest development, what will be Khama Billiat’s next move? It never rains but pours for the Zimbabwean talisman, who is yet to find a club after dumping Kaizer Chiefs in 2023.
