‘My dad left’: Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s history melts hearts

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi left fans emotional after he detailed his humble history from childhood saying his father left them.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s background history from humble beginnings left fans feeling for him on Instagram.

Siya Kolisi is now one of the most decorated rugby captains, having won two Rugby World Cups. Over the years, his influence in the Springboks team was influential, and some fans saw him as the most critical player.

It, however, remains debatable whether Siya is the most talented player, but his leadership has been outstanding. With such a massive profile in rugby, some fans did not know much about where Siya was coming from. Rugbypass shared a video when Siya detailed his history, calling his story incredible.

A LOOK INTO THE SPRINGBOKS CAPTAIN SIYA KOLISI’S HISTORY

Speaking about his background, Siya Kolisi told us the year and place he was born: Port Elizabeth in 1991. He continued by saying that his mother was around 15 years old when she gave birth to him.

Conversely, his father was around 20, and Siya understood that he was a young man, and he left. He continued speaking of how much they struggled to have proper food.

Siya claimed that he loved going to school because they were getting some bread. With all the struggles, Siya Kolisi remained strong and worked hard to develop his rugby until he became a professional.
