Many have shared their thoughts on the clip while wondering if there is such a thing as “resigning” from being a sangoma.

The video made its way on X (formerly Twitter) where social media users wondered whether exiting sangoma hood was as easy as destroying the indlozi cloth.

Others questioned why she decided to turn to God and christianity again.

“Hebanna. So you can resign just like that? That means she was a fake right?” one person said while another wrote:

“It’s always inspiring to hear stories of people finding faith and spiritual fulfillment. I’m glad that Palesa has found something that brings her joy and purpose.”
