WATCH – Kelly Khumalo allegedly went to a witch doctor for cleansing

During the ongoing murder trial of Senzo Meyiwa, lead investigator Brigadier Bongani Gininda revealed that Kelly Khumalo allegedly ordered and paid hitmen to kill the former Bafana Bafana captain.

The Gauteng High Court heard that accused 1 Muzi Sibiya and 2 Bongani Ntanzi named Kelly Khumalo as the person who hired them to kill the former Orlando Pirates captain.

KELLY KHUMALO ALLEGEDLY WENT TO A WITCH DOCTOR FOR CLEANSING

Evidence under oath indicates that the murder of Senzo Meyiwa was a hit, not a robbery gone wrong. The new confessions before the courts have allegedly implicated Kelly Khumalo as a person of interest.

However, the court also heard that Kelly Khumalo subsequently went to a witch doctor for cleansing, just like the other accused in the matter. Against the allegations, she has yet to share her side of the story.

During early cross-examinations, the court heard that the five accused went for cleansing after the incident. Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead in Vosloonus, Gauteng, in the company of his girlfriend and friends in 2014.

BEING ALLEGEDLY IN CONTACT WITH A WELL-KNOWN HITMAN

This is not the first time the actress has been accused of allegedly masterminding Meyiwa’s murder. In 2022, Colonel Lambertus Steyn testified before the courts Khumalo was in contact with the accused.

Colonel Steyn revealed that accused five and Kelly Khumalo were in contact before Senzo Meyiwa’s murder. They allegedly made two calls on 2 August 2014 and 15 October 2014.

The first call was for nearly two minutes, and the other was one and a half minutes.
