Rachel Kolisi opens up about her little jet-setters’ jet lag woes

On Sunday, the Kolisi clan headed back to France and with almost no rest, Rachel prepared her tired little jet-setters for school today.

Rachel Kolisi, wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi has done her best to keep the family’s many fans updated with their every move — especially since their big relocation to France where Siya has joined rugby team Racing 92. The couple and their two kids haven’t caught much of a break since the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup and are naturally exhausted.

Taking to Instagram early this morning, Rachel opened up about how sad she was to have to wake the kids for school after getting only five hours of sleep and suffering from jet lag.

Rachel Kolisi feels for jet lagged kids ahead on school day

South African fitness instructor and philanthropist Rachel Kolisi and her family are living a life many can only dream of.

The wife of second time World Cup winner Siya Kolisi has had the busiest four months this year after moving to France to support Siya during the Rugby World Cup.

Heading to Instagram frequently after the move, she shared updates on how they are adjusting to their new life there with Siya joining the country’s Racing 92 shortly after winning the RWC.

Only a few weeks after winning the Cup, the family flew to South Africa, Miami and then New York where they watched various football, basketball and hockey games.

On Sunday 19 November, the landed in France and were understandably exhausted.

Come rain or shine

Taking to Instagram, Rachel shared how sad she was that she had to wake the two kids for school despite the fact that they hadn’t gotten much sleep and were pretty jet lagged.

“Babies only fell asleep at 2 am and I have to wake them up now for school. Jet lag is the pits honestly,” she wrote.
