Photos of the car have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped on the internet.
R5 MILLION MCLAREN 720S SPOTTED IN SA
The photos were first shared on Instagram by famous car spotter pe_petrolheads, who has spotted some of the world’s rarest cars, including the trending R42.8 million Koenigsegg.
Surprisingly, only four units of the Koenigsegg CCXR are on the market, one of which is in South Africa. The car has a Gauteng registration plate. However, pe_petrolheads has also spotted another beauty, and Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about its owner.
The trending McLaren 720S from Gqeberha was being trucked off to Cape Town for service. Against the post, many have been trying to connect the dots about the car’s price tag.
Car price tags differ due to the year of production and trims. However, in South Africa, a McLaren 720S has a base price tag of R5 million. However, several dealerships have listed the car on a price-on-request basis, leaving many convinced that they cost a fortune.
Several car enthusiasts have it that the prices might balloon since the car’s production was said to be coming to an end.
