PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP AND FINDING GOD

He admitted in a candid interview with Mpoomy Ledwaba on her YouTube channel, Wisdom and Wellness that his sex addiction cost him his relationship with his son’s mother, Thobeka Majozi.

The rapper and businessman equated success to being a billionaire and also admitted to using money to control women.

“God was showing me that I was destroying myself with sex. You’re having difficulties with women because you only see one thing.”

“I created a serious mess. I hurt my baby mama so much. We broke up, and I have been single for two years.”

Speaking about what led him on his current spiritual journey Nyovest also revealed that he was going through the hardest time of his life.

“I was going through the hardest time of my life. I woke up one day, I looked in the mirror and I had questions I couldn’t answer. It was three simple questions: Who are you? Where do you come from? and where are you going?

“My whole life became a blur. I didn’t enjoy anything; I didn’t care about anything. I remember I was going to perform in Durban, and I said that if I see my son I’d feel better, but when he ran up to me, I felt nothing. Nothing!”

He also revealed in the interview that he used to struggle to sleep and eventually went to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with depression.

“They gave me a pill, made me feel better only for a few hours. Then I went to therapy, and it made me feel a little better until I was alone again.”

He eventually went to church and realised he’d been playing with his life, and that the devil had him.

“I asked what my purpose is, and someone told me that we were created solely to worship God. We were talking about salvation and the soul, and it hit me that this is what’s missing.”

“I’ve being playing with my life and the devil had me. He had me so deep that I did not think about this at all.”

“Everything up to that point could be validated. I was addicted to sex. Addicted to sexual immorality in general. I had such a big ego, I thought I was better than everyone else but humble enough not to offend anyone.”
