It is often said that the internet never forgets, and this is particularly true in the case of actress Pearl Thusi and her ex-lovers Walter Mokoena and Robert Marawa.
The media personality, who recently announced that she has added the “DJ” label under her belt, was dragged into a “bromance” moment between the two sports broadcasters.

In a post on Sunday, 25 February, Mokoena – founder of MySportsBook App – showed his appreciation to the 947 presenter for inspiring his broadcasting career.
“Appreciation post, Robert marawa, by far the best Sports anchor this country has ever produced. We made magic together. We made the impossible, possible. Learnt a lot from you just by watching u in action. Salute Bob [sic],” Mokoena wrote.
His message received a warm response from Marawa, who used the ex-presenter’s signature intro at the beginning of the post.
“Waaaaaalteeeer Mokoena!! A trailblazer and a force!! Shook things up on our tv screens and kept it real…!! Salute baba!! Humbled. 🫱🏼🫲🏾We equally celebrate ur greatness Sir!!”

While fans appreciated seeing the brotherhood between the pair, some reminded them that they have more in common than just their sports presenting careers.
Mokoena is Thusi’s ex-husband. The former couple share a 16-year-old daughter, Thandolwethu Mokoena.
Many years after their divorce, Thusi dated Marawa. Their first public appearance as a couple was at the annual Vodacom Durban July in 2016, but they broke up in 2017.
