Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng gives an update on his possible EPL move

In 2023, Relebohile Mofokeng hogged headlines after going for trials with English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves).

However, the Orlando Pirates star recently gave an update on his rumoured possible move to the English Premier League.

RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG GIVES AN UPDATE ON HIS POSSIBLE EPL MOVE

Speaking to the media during MultiChoice’s Player Transition Programme, Mofokeng said, “I didn’t get the feedback, but then let’s hope for the best.” Against his update, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about his future.

Will Relebohile Mofokeng join Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) this year? Orlando Pirates is yet to give a detailed update on his future.

Questioned about his experience during the trials, Mofokeng made it known that there was no huge difference between players from the local league and those from Wolves.

“There is not much of a difference between us (PSL players) and players at Wolves,” he said. No doubt his interview has since thrust him into the top trends.

AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS SNUB

Relebohile Mofokeng also opened up on his Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) snub while speaking with the media. The star hoped for a national team call, but it didn’t come. Mofokeng said, “I also wanted to be there, I don’t know why I wasn’t selected.”

“But then things won’t always go the way you want them in life all the time. So we must just wish them good luck and go on with life. Maybe next time I will be called up,” he added.
