Joslin Smith’s biological father, Jose Emke, is demanding full custody of the children he has with his ex, Kelly.

This is after learning that the missing child’s mother and her partner Jacquin Appollis, also known as Boeta, are battling substance abuse.

According to Emke – who spoke to the Daily Voice – Kelly never informed him of their daughter’s disappearance.

Joslin of Diazville, Saldanha Bay, has yet to be found.

JOSLIN SMITH’S DAD: ‘I WANT MY CHILDREN BACK’

Speaking to the publication, Joslin Smith’s biological dad, Jose Emke, expressed his concern over her disappearance more than two weeks ago.

Emke lives and works in the Northern Cape, and last saw his children late last year.

He said: “I didn’t understand how she went missing. I think that she has been trafficked. She is somewhere out there.”

Emke – who claims that Kelly never once informed him of Joslin’s disappearance – also has another young daughter with the mother.

He continued:  “After hearing that Kelly and her boyfriend are busy with drugs, I want my children back. I have two children with her, including Joslin. And I plan on fighting to have them in my custody.”

Emke has previously called for Kelly and Boeta’s arrest.

He told eNCA: “I don’t believe the stories they told because there are a lot of different stories… They could be in drug debt. The people who are selling drugs can even hurt my child.

He added: “They must be arrested and tell the police the truth about my child’s disappearance.”

KELLY AND BOETA: THE LATEST

According to Gayton McKenzie – who has actively led a search party in Saldanha Bay – Joslin Smith’s mother, Kelly, and her boyfriend, Boeta, have repeatedly been taken in for questioning by the police.

The couple – who have confessed to using the drug tik (crystal meth) – were called to identify a pair of blood-stained children’s clothing discovered in an open field over the weekend.

Authorities have issued a formal statement on the new evidence, revealing it will be tested by forensics. The results of the tests have yet to be made public.
