Reigning Miss SA Natasha Joubert opened up about her engagement and her plans for the future.
MISS SA NATASHA JOUBERT OPENS UP ABOUT ENGAGEMENT
Reigning Miss SA Natasha Joubert revealed that her family flew down to Cape Town for her engagement, announced on Sunday 25 February, via an Instagram post.
he beauty queen’s boyfriend of eight years, Enrico Vermaak got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage during a romantic sunset yacht cruise from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
“Enrico and I have been together for eight-and-a-half years and have known for a long time that we are life partners. The setting was perfect and so special as both our families and friends had flown down for the occasion,” she said.
Natasha revealed that she did suspect her boyfriend, now fiancé will propose to her but she thought it would be on Saturday and he instead proposed a day earlier to switch things up.
“I thought it might take place at a wine farm on Saturday but Enrico decided to switch things around and propose during a Friday evening cruise. There were other people on board and I didn’t see any of my family or friends so I didn’t suspect a thing,” she continued.
“However, he had organised that the top deck on the yacht was kept just for us, and our families were hiding downstairs in the kitchen area. I was filming content on the front of the yacht when suddenly Enrico was standing there, ready to propose, with our friends and family in tow,” she added.
“I am on cloud nine and so happy. It’s a dream come true!,” she went on to say.
