Mama Joy shares and deletes clip of fan giving her stack of cash

South African Springbok superfan Mama Joy has been trending since the Rugby World Cup started in September this year. Her stay became very controversial after DA member Renaldo Gouws revealed that she was staying in France to support the Springboks at the expense of frustrated SA taxpayers. Despite this, she has continued sharing photos of her stay and also of herself supporting the team in her famous colourful outfits.

In a now deleted video, Mama Joy can be seen getting a wad of dollars from a fan. Before the clip was deleted, many in the comment section once again slammed the professional fan.

Mama Joy gets stack of dollars, deletes video shortly after

On Saturday evening last week, then Springboks defeated New Zealand to become the only country in the world to win the Rugby World Cup four times.

The amazing achievement is still being celebrated by South Africans across the country who came out in numbers to welcome the players home from France on Tuesday this week.

While many locals couldn’t be more proud of the Springboks, not many are happy that local super fan Mama Joy was allegedly paid to support the team in France.

The big bad backlash

During her stay, she trended multiple times as people discussed how much it was costing SA to have Mama Joy in France for over a month.

In a clip shared by Mama Joy on X on Saturday this week, she can be seen getting a thick wad of dollars from one of her supporters.

After receiving backlash she deleted the video.
