For years now, her husband Thami Ndala has made grand gestures of love which have left locals in awe.

This year, many waited with eager anticipation to see what the couple had in store this year. However, Valentine’s Day came and went with nothing from Lerato.

Earlier this week, she finally revealed why she was so quiet — she had suffered another miscarriage.

Taking to social media, she wrote, “Pardon my silence. This was the most happiest but became the most painful month of love. On the 12th was when my incredible gynae broke the news. I’m much better than last week. My parents have been next to me.”

Responding to backlash

As expected, she was almost instantly subjected to online scrutiny. Many wondered why she had opened herself up to such.

Taking to Instagram, she shared that she was basically forced. She also thanked everyone for their support during this time.

“I had not been planning to share what happened, but it saddens me that some people saw it fit to disclose what doesn’t need to appear in the public realm. As a result I was forced to divulge something I am still finding a way to make peace with. Thank you for the calls and messages, your love and support has been incredibly comforting.”
