Social media users have reminded former president and uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party leader Jacob Zuma of his relationship with a then-teenage Nonkanyiso Conco, commonly known as LaConco.
This amid his controversial comments about his vision to banish pregnant teenage girls to Robben Island, should his party come into power.
The 81-year-old made the comments while speaking to a crowd of supporters in Maqongqo, outside Pietermaritzburg, over the weekend.

ZUMA PLANS TO EXILE PREGNANT TEENS TO ROBBEN ISLAND
Speaking to the crowd, Zuma claimed his MK party would not allow teenage pregnancy to occur. Should it happen, young girls would be essentially exiled to Robben Island to complete their school education.
The girls would be separated from their communities.
“According to the law, a child should not give birth to a child. That’s not life. It’s a disease. We will end it,” he said.
Zuma did not mention what would happen to the babies born or the men who fathered them.
WHAT ABOUT LACONCO?
On X, many users reminded Jacob Zuma of his multiple relationships with younger women, including Sonono Khoza and a woman named Khwezi.
According to TimesLive, Zuma’s youngest lover – LaConco – was just 19 when she first began visiting his Nkandla household. A few years later, the Real Housewives of Durban star gave birth to their son.
