SA’s little Klein Kwagga makes it to Kelly Clarkson’s show [watch]

‘You have no idea how much joy you have brought me,’ Kelly Clarkson told Klein Kwagga – the little boy who went viral with his dance moves.

A couple of months ago, a bright little boy stole Mzansi’s heart with his song and dance routine. The eight-year-old first went viral after he was recorded vibrantly doing his school recital. After the video gained traction online, many wanted to see little Klein Kwagga in action and soon he was doing his dance all over TikTok.

And now he has left his fellow South Africans feeling all sorts of proud after he was invited to feature on American talkshow host Kelly Clarkson’s show.

Klein Kwagga goes international, performs on Kelly Clarkson’s show

Just a couple of months ago, a primary school boy managed to capture millions of hearts. Klein Kwagga — real name Dirkco Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen — first went viral after he was recorded doing his school recital.

Among all of the other adorable little boys and girls, Klein Kwagga stood out as he danced to Lyfie by local musician Bernice West with all of his heart.

Soon there were requests to see him do the dance alone and let’s just say, every time he did it, it got better and better.

Shortly afterwards, other south africans were also doing the dance routine.

Making it big

And now the little star has made it international. US singer turned talkshow host Kelly Clarkson even invited him to speak via international video call on her show.

“There’s something to be said for those who dance the hardest, knowing pretty much everyone is watching. Kwagga you have no idea how much joy you have brought me. You would be best friends with my son, I swear,” Clarkson told him during the call.
